Jewelry is a very customisable craft, and it's fairly easy to make similar designs in different colours, beads, gemstones, lengths.

Having viewed my designs in the gallery, perhaps you've seen something you liked that would suit you, if it were made in your favourite colour, or a little longer or shorter to match your taste. Contact me for information and questions, and quotes on commissioned pieces.

Here are the criteria you will want to consider when submitting a request for a quote on a self-tailored-design.

Necklaces:

• generally 16, 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches in length for regular wear
  • choker - 14 to 16 inches
  • princess - 16 to 20 inches
  • matinee - 20 to 26 inches
  • opera - 28 to 36 inches
  • rope - 40 inches and over
• single or multi-strand
• multi-strands can be different lengths, usually the same or one or two measures apart.

Bracelets:

• usually 7 - 9 inches in length for a single wrap
• feature focal bead(s) with symmetrical pattern
• or a repeating pattern with no focal bead(s)

Earrings:

• findings:
  • kidney
  • shepherd crook/french wire
  • ball and post
  • leverback
  • clip-on
• all of these usually have a loop in which to hang a dangling bead composition

Bead sizes, shapes and material: some people like chunky beads, some like smaller. Some like pearls or regular stones. Beads are usually measured in millimetres.

Bead colours: whatever looks good together. You know your taste. I can suggest complementary combinations if you can give me a colour.
